Observation 3.1.11 July 16, 2003 Well, Sue and I have finally moved in together, and I finally have internet access at the new house - sorry for the delay (is anybody out there?). It's been quite an adjustment living with somebody else (other than my parents), and I thought I'd pass along some of the "growing pain" issues that we've had to deal with. First of all, Sue is not the easiest person to get up in the morning. This usually involves the alarm clock going off on a couple of occasions, and sometimes I have to then "coax" her out of bed. Some of my tactics include farting, dancing naked in front of her, and usually gentle reminder that we are running late for work. Of course, Sue usually misinterprets this as me screaming at her (even though I usually am whispering). T.V. is another interesting topic. Sue likes reality shows, TLC, and Beverly Hills 90210. I like wrestling, sports, and funny movies/t.v. shows. I'll be watching baseball for a few minutes, when Sue chimes in "Baseball is on again??? Ugh!" Usually, I'll have to put on some sort of Justin Guarini special to calm her down. Music is another sticking point. I, of course, love the Stones. I also like other music by real musicians. Sue, on the other hand, prefers music that is mass-packages, such as Justin Timberlake, and the aforementioned Justin Guarini. But, all in all, it is a lot of fun living with Sue. We make lots of delicious dinners (which is important to a stomach as large as mine). We also work very well on the house together, and we've come a long way on it. Don't get me wrong, we still have lots to do, but the place is starting to look like a real residence. One thing, though. We still haven't gotten our new furniture, so our living room still looks like a dorm room, complete with a futon and a recliner. Sue swears she hates the recliner, although she has fallen asleep on it on several occasions already. More house updates, and other funny stories coming soon. Please keep reading!
