All Things Stones
As many of you know, the Rolling Stones are my favorite Rock and Roll band. I began listening to them when I was in seventh grade. My friends Walt and Bobby turned me on to them at that point (prior to that, I was like most seventh graders - listening to Hot Hits, 98 WCAU, FM). I bought a cheap Stones tape, I believe it was made by DECCA, and listened to that religiously. I followed that up with the purchase of the, at the time, newly released Hot Rocks tape (I got the money for that tape by shoveling snow). I have been to 5 Stones concerts since then - 1989 Steel Wheels, 1994 Voodoo Lounge, 1998 Bridges to Babylon, 1999 No Security, and 2002 40 Licks.
