Week 15 Scoreboard:
Tufftown - Berline continued its slide into oblivion, snatching defeat from the hands of victory in a come-from-ahead 34-24 loss to the Killerz. "This is a low-point in our season," said Bratwurst coach Karl Grieb. The Brats started the game well with an early 14-0, and 21-7 lead, before taking a 24-13 lead into half-time. The Brats continued to dominate early in the third quarter, forcing a Tufftown turnover, and moving the ball to the Tufftown 20, before a holding penalty and an interception ended the drive. Tufftown drove down and made the score 24-21 after a successful 2-point conversion, and it didn't take long for Berlin to give up the lead, as Drew Brees threw another one of his 5 interceptions, this one returned for a touchdown. "Drew probably had his worst game ever as a quarterback," said a dejected Grieb. Berlin was able to drive deep into Tufftown territory with just under 3 minutes to go in the game, but once again, Drew Brees threw a pick, that all but ended the contest. Berlin's road continues as they play the league-leading Mudfish.
